Great venue in Selma for political and social events. Large parking area.
Went to the Sportmen's banquet. It seemed to be a nice venue. The parking lot is gravel so you may want to take that into your planning. The location is a bit out of the way. Their other location is more convenient -- just off 95.
Loved the speakers and all attendees were like family, like-minded and warm.

Great shows and more at this place. I'd raise the back a little so it would be easier to see over the people in front of you. It is more of a ballroom than an auditorium. But it is a very nice place with lots of parking.
If your looking for the perfect rustic, romantic venue.. THIS IS YOUR PLACE! We worked with the wonderful Ms. Rachel for over a year to get our perfect day planned out!!! From their prices to what they provide down to the vendors they recommended is absolutely amazing!! Ms Rachel will treat you, and anyone you bring like family.. she answered any questions or concerns that we had. She is truly amazing at what she does for the amount of events they hold month-month and yearly!!!! I know they had a double header the weekend we got married, and you would of never known! They have both round & rectangular tables for use, along with a beautiful bridal suite and a getting ready room for bridesmaids and groomsmen! If you were a lost bride like I was, don’t be shy to ask Rachel for some advice, she is a true professional at what she does! The farm has a whole separate room for buffet style dinners and events which makes it all the easier for guest in my opinion! She walked us through their contract and the breath taking venue. We got married under the gazebo and I can’t recommend it enough, the trees, train and swing made it beyond magical! We got married 11/10/2023 so it was a little chilly but we got to use the fire place and the heaters that are outside!!! ALL THE GUEST RAVED about the attention to detail put into this place! Ms. Rachel also checked on me halfway through our wedding to make sure I was happy with everything, if I needed anyone in particular, or if I needed anything!! She will also go out of her way to take photos from each event happening at the farm, I wish we would of gotten one with her!! We will 1,000% be coming back in 10-20years for a vowl renewal and I can’t wait to work with Rachel again! The farm also has a ATM, so making payments or having a open bar is very feasible to everyone! I ALSO HIGLY RECOMMEND THE MOSTCO for wine, it was absolutely delicious, tasted just like juice!! The parking lot is beyond spacious & accommodating. I will always recommend this place to a future couple, family reinion, office party, retirement party, and many more! ❤️

The Farm at 42 is a great location for medium to large weddings and events! I had the opportunity to plan a wedding at this venue a few years ago, and I truly enjoyed working with their team of venue staff and bartenders to create beautiful memories in this space. The bridal suite is a great size and has large mirrors and plenty of lights. The pondside ceremony and long sidewalk aisle are lovely, the property offers many photo backdrops, and the large indoor ballroom can be designed for any event style, rather than feeling like a barn. This is a great mix of rural and modern!

Great location for your next event. I attended a wedding and while I was there, I scouted the place out.
As a professional NC wedding photographer, I really enjoyed photographing a wedding at the Farm in Selma. The field behind the main building is a great place to take pictures and the reception hall is well lit with a combination of natural and overhead lighting.
Providing ample room to host a large wedding reception, this venue is huge! Perfect place to party if you've got a big guest list.
The location is right off of I-95 so it's super convenient for everyone to find too.
