Our History

In 2012 there was a realization that there was not a venue in the Johnston County area that was large enough or capable of accommodating events with 300 or more people.  This was an obvious problem.

The idea took shape and the initial plans for The Farm at 95 began to take shape.  This was to be a space that would accommodate not only the initial size but expand to be able to entertain upwards of 400+ with separate rooms for food, dedicated dressing rooms, a well equipped stage and a relaxing patio.

After deciding that this was going to be something special, drafting the plans, and putting thoughts, ideas, layouts and concepts into action, The Farm at 95 opened its doors in October of 2013.  The vision was ambitious and the response exceeded our expectations.  We quickly became the go to venue for concerts, banquets, wedding receptions.

Since opening at 95 we have been able to start offering wedding ceremony space as well and is consistently used in over 90% of wedding rentals to date.

After the success of The Farm at 95, we were inundated with wedding ceremony requests.  The landscape and atmosphere of the location is beautiful and the perfect backdrop for celebrating a special day.  In response to the overwhelming interest in wedding ceremonies we opened a 2nd location, The Farm at 42, in March of 2018.

This decision allowed us to continue to accommodate the large amount of weddings happing in Johnston County.  Furthermore, we made some refinements to The Farm at 95 to cater more to brides by expanding dressing rooms and applying some updates.  A smaller room was also added to cater to those that love the location but would like a smaller weddings. This space was also the perfect way to open it up to bridal and baby showers, birthday parties as well as other events such as smaller corporate gatherings.

We started this adventure because the area needed a proper venue for celebrating life, love, friendships, births and everything in between.  This is our passion and we love what we do.  We hope that when the time is right for your big day or event that you talk to us.
